We had the most magical time here, nothing was too much trouble. We shall take home beautiful Peridot memories of our time at Dar Jaguar!
Chloe, London, February 2014
What inspired this name?
The peridot gemstone. An exquisite, ancient stone that has been with us since the Egyptians and one that the Romans loved as it never changed its colour, even in artificial light. They gave it the name, “the emerald of the night”.
A pale Georgian green room serenely enclosed behind a pair of stunningly majestic two metre tall cedar-wood doors on the ground floor.
The doors open directly onto the courtyard with its rose-filled fountain, sweet birdsong and jasmin-infused breeze.
Peridot’s Powder Room has a double bed and a pale cream high marble console table lit by beautiful copper cutwork lights.
Peridot’s Powder Room’s Bathroom is in pale peridot tadlekt with Grecian columns at the entrance to a deep bath and a large shower. A Georgian mirror, a French Provencal tryptique and two large copper basins are lit by delicately sculpted brass lights.
