Design Inspiration
With a heady mix of the 1001 Oriental Nights and the Romantic poets, Dar Jaguar is the proprietress and designer’s Love Letter to Marrakech.
This is a marriage of traditional Moroccan architecture and European romanticism. Every corner of the riad, from its exquisite Byzantine-inspired bejewelled lights, to its intricately hand-carved plasterwork and golden bath tubs are lovingly created by the breathtakingly talented artists and craftsman of the Red City.
The desire was for Dar Jaguar to embrace the deep-rooted sensuality of Marrakech’s colours, textures, light and fragrance. An irresistible charm that caresses, exalts and eventually gently seduces you into a soothed State of Grace…
